TBC Bank Uzbekistan has announced that it has expanded the capabilities of its TBC Biznes platform with the launch of a fully digital payroll service, enabling small and medium-sized businesses to automate employee salary payments entirely online without visiting a branch or incurring transaction fees, London Loves Business reports.
The bank describes the addition as a significant step in the platform’s evolution from a business lending tool into a comprehensive digital banking solution for the SME segment. TBC Uzbekistan identified this as a core growth priority within its broader two-sided ecosystem strategy.
The new payroll feature reportedly allows legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to establish a payroll project and process salary transfers directly to employees’ TBC Salom cards through the TBC Biznes platform interface. The service operates around the clock with no additional transaction charges, addressing two of the most common friction points associated with payroll management for small businesses: the time and cost involved in processing regular salary runs through conventional banking channels.
TBC Uzbekistan says the service’s operational design reflects its broader philosophy of reducing administrative overhead for its business customers. The platform enables the entire payroll cycle to be completed digitally, from employee onboarding through to salary disbursement, eliminating the need for accounting departments to manage physical documentation, branch visits or manual payment processing.
The reduction in time spent on payroll administration has value beyond simply eliminating transaction fees, for businesses operating with smaller administrative teams.
