There’s lots happening behind the scenes at the GPA, and there’s someone we’d like to introduce you to who is helping us take an important next step in how we support our members.
We’re delighted to welcome Sam to the GPA team. With experience in payroll training and Payroll Advisory, Sam will be working across a number of areas as we continue to develop the guidance, knowledge and resources we offer to the global payroll community.
One of his first key projects has been helping to establish our new Global Payroll Advisory Helpdesk, giving eligible GPA members access to practical guidance on payroll compliance and requirements across different countries and regions.
Everyone working in global payroll knows that questions rarely arrive neatly packaged. Requirements can vary from one country to the next, legislation changes, and sometimes you need a place to go for a little more clarity. The Helpdesk is designed to provide that additional support when our members need it.
As well as the Helpdesk, Sam will be involved in the development of our payroll training and content, helping us continue to build resources that reflect the realities of working in payroll today.
Sam’s expertise will be a valuable asset to the GPA as we continue to broaden what we offer our members, from helping to navigate a compliance question and developing knowledge and skills, to finding useful resources for the day-to-day realities of their roles.
If you’d like to welcome Sam, find out more about the Global Payroll Advisory Helpdesk, or just get in touch, you can reach him at Sam@gpa.net.
