[Israel] Intel offers laid-off workers up to 19 months’ salary
10 Jul 2025

A new round of layoffs announced by Intel Israel is poised to impact several hundred employees, Tech in Asia reports.

Employees who have worked five years or more at the company could receive four months’ salary, while those with more than ten years' service could receive ten months’ pay.

Long-serving employees with more than 30 years at Intel may qualify for up to 19 months’ salary.

The job cuts will reportedly include workers at Intel’s Kiryat Gat plant. This is the first time layoffs have affected the facility, which employs around 4,000 of the company’s approximately 9,300 employees in Israel.

Employees who choose to contest their dismissal in a hearing risk losing their enhanced severance package.

If Intel upholds the termination, employees will reportedly only receive the statutory severance required by law.
