ADP’s People At Work 2023 study reportedly found that 41 per cent of Singaporeans consider management skills essential for their career.
According to the Corporate Finance Institute, the six essential management skills are:
- Planning
- Communication
- Decision-making
- Delegation
- Problem-solving
- Ability to motivate employees

People skills were seen by 37 per cent of Singaporeans as essential to their line of work.
