Payroll and HR solutions provider Zellis has announced the availability of a new connector with Cornerstone HR. The connector, listed on the Zellis Marketplace, will integrate the Zellis Payroll Edition to Cornerstone’s HCM platform, Enterprise Times reports.
The connector will enable organisations to move employee data, such as absence data from Cornerstone On Demand HR, into the Zellis HCM Cloud Payroll edition.
Disconnected systems present a challenge for HR and Payroll teams, increasing the amount of manual work and elevating the risk of errors. The benefit of integration will be enabling teams to ensure that both solutions are up to date with information such as onboarding, performance, absence and promotion requests. As data changes, the integration gives HR administrators confidence in the data consistency across their systems of record.
The connector also reportedly checks the data for consistency, flagging data exceptions directly and instantly to HR administrators. With the extensive HR data from Cornerstone available within Zellis, organisations can leverage the Zellis Intelligence platform better. The suite provides a holistic view across the workforce and can help identify trends using the platform analytics and inform data-driven decisions.
George Dunnett - Chief Product Officer, Zellis - said, “We are proud to be collaborating with Cornerstone, an organisation that has been at the forefront of talent and innovation for more than two decades. Enhancing the interoperability of our solution is one of the important ways we help our customers to modernise their businesses, ensuring they stay ahead of the curve. We are excited for customers to see Cornerstone HR’s solution seamlessly operating within our solution and helping them make effective data-driven decisions.”
Technology integration
According to Enterprise Times, this initially appears to be a technology integration only. There is no reported mention of a marketing initiative promoting a combination of the two solutions. Zellis’s creation of the integration highlights Cornerstone’s growing footprint in the UK market.
Cornerstone combining its HR solution with Zellis, a leading UK payroll solution, makes it an easier sell to other UK organisations. Zellis reportedly has rich functionality specific to the UK market. It would take Cornerstone significant time and resources to replicate that.
Mark Debono - VP UK at Cornerstone - said, “Zellis is one of the leading suppliers of payroll and HR for the UK and Ireland, and we are thrilled to have our solution available to its customers.
“By partnering with Zellis, we can pass on faster, more efficient, and more streamlined learning opportunities to our customers and their people. We’re excited about the possibilities this brings by removing barriers from accessing the data HR professionals need to achieve the insights that we know make a huge difference for business outcomes. We are pleased that our joint efforts to create exceptional solutions have come together so well with this integration.”
