Business management software provider Access People has acquired the payroll platform Paycircle, the business magazine reports.
Access People is a multinational firm with offices across the South East. Paycircle is based in Reading and has become the latest acquisition in Access Group's aggressive acquisition and merger strategy.
Access People is a division of The Access Group.
Paycircle is an expert cloud-based payroll service. The purchase will reportedly boost current payroll offerings for new and existing customers.
Charles Butterworth - managing director of Access People - said, “We’re delighted to welcome Paycircle as the latest acquisition to the Access Group, allowing us to expand Access Payroll Services and continue our mission to become the leading provider of world-class HR solutions.”
Catherine Pinkney - co-founder of Paycircle - said, “Seeking out new opportunities to support our clients has always been at the heart of Paycircle’s approach.
"I’m thrilled about our next steps with Access People, integrating our offering within Access platforms to provide more efficient and streamlined payroll services. Together, we can move forward with a fully comprehensive service, thanks to our combined approach to investing in and developing software that is second to none.
"The Paycircle payroll platform takes payroll from being a back-office admin process and integrates it into the heart of an organisation. My view is that "payday” is about business and people and it’s not just about PAYE and pensions compliance or unfathomable payslips.’’
Jamie Costello - co-founder of Paycircle - said, “I am delighted that Paycircle is finding a new home at the Access Group. The combination of Paycircle's innovative technology and Access's resources and experience will allow many more companies to see what a true cloud Payroll system can offer.’
