Payroll and HR solutions provider Zalaris ASA has announced a five-year agreement to deliver payroll, time, travel and expense solutions and services to TOMRA's 500 employees in Norway, Cision reports.
TOMRA provides technology-led solutions that enable the circular economy with its advanced collection and sorting systems, and food processing by employing sensor-based sorting and grading technology. TOMRA was founded in 1972 when it began designing, manufacturing and selling reverse vending machines (RVMs) for the automated collection of used drinks containers.
In total TOMRA reportedly has over 100,000 installations in over 80 markets worldwide and earned revenues of about 10.9 billion NOK in 2021. TOMRA's geographic footprint covers all continents and its solutions are increasingly relevant for serving sustainable societies.
The TOMRA Group employs roughly 4,600 people globally and is publicly listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
As part of the agreement, Zalaris will reportedly integrate TOMRA’s HR solution with Zalaris PeopleHub, which includes Zalaris cloud payroll, time and absence and travel expense solution for all employees. TOMRA will also implement the Zalaris Carbon Footprint solution to support its focus on sustainability.
TOMRA’s main objectives for the partnership with Zalaris are to ensure the following:
- Full outsourcing of payroll and associated services for all employees in Norway with an option to include other geographies in TOMRA Group into the same solution
- Access to a modern and flexible solution for payroll with an integrated solution for travel and expense claim handling and full-time management solution
- Employee and organisational master data seamlessly integrated with existing HR solution
- Compliance with personal data protection and security requirements
- Delivery of payroll services at a competitive price point
