[Turkey] Formation of the Turkish Payroll Association

Recently, a group of leading payroll professionals announced the formation of the Turkish Payroll Association (TPA). 

The TPA’s creation is reportedly intended to accelerate the development of the country's payroll industry, to grow and standardise the sector through payroll-related activities such as training, establishing industry standards and acting as an industry body to assist organisations in designing payroll processes. 

The association held its executive general meeting on July 11, 2023, and elected new officers. 

The management team is made up of experts from prominent payroll companies. Among the companies on the TPA’s board of directors are Datassist Payroll Service, Platinum Outsourcing, Ernst & Young, PwC, and Deloitte. 

Ayşe Nazmiye Uça has been elected as the Turkish Payroll Association president.
