On June 1, 2025, it became fully legal for employees in the Czech Republic to openly talk about their wages.
The change has reportedly put an end to decades of pay secrecy enforced by employers through confidentiality clauses in labour contracts.
It forms part of a significant amendment to the country’s Labor Code intended to increase pay transparency and reduce unjustified pay disparities
