Global Payments - What the Future Holds
Join Michael MacHale and Neil McAllister from UKG as they take us through a straight-talking “what you need to know” guide to the future of paying employees globally. Paying people used to be relatively straightforward. Today, payroll teams are managing international workforces, contractors, multiple payment rails, growing compliance expectations, and an ever-present risk of fraud.
In this session, Michael and Neil will unpack what’s really changing in the global payments landscape and what payroll professionals should be thinking about next. We’ll explore the role AI may play in payroll and payments, whether it will genuinely improve the way payroll operates or simply add another layer of complexity.
The session will also look at the increasing challenge of paying contractors and non-traditional workers, and what payroll teams need to be aware of as workforce models continue to evolve. And of course, no conversation about payroll payments is complete without talking about fraud. With payroll sitting right at the centre of company cashflow, Michael and Neil will highlight some of the latest anti-fraud practices and controls organisations should have firmly on their radar. A practical session designed to help payroll professionals stay one step ahead of where global payroll payments are heading.
