In the UK, as part of its August 2025 Employer Bulletin, HMRC has confirmed changes to the raising of charge resolution cases, now referred to as Disputed Charges, PAYadvice.UK reports.
As of July 31, 2025, employers can report a PAYE dispute to HMRC using a new online form, available here. PAYE login details are required.
From August 31, 2025, employers and their agents will no longer be able to report an employers PAYE dispute through the HMRC helplines or webchat. The new online form will be the only way to dispute a charge.
