Private sector employees, including those working for companies, associations, and individuals, will pay QAR100 annually for work permits, applicable to new, renewed, and replacement documents, under the new rules.
Recruitment agencies will reportedly need to pay QAR2,000 fees for new and renewed licences, and QAR1,000 for replacements.
Document attestation services, including verification of seals, contracts, and certificates, are now charged at QAR20.
According to DLA Piper, Qatari nationals, children of Qatari women, and GCC citizens will be exempt from these fees.
